As die paartjie vir julle bekend lyk is dit omdat ek Heinrich en Nadine se “pre-wedding shoot” ‘n paar maande terug op ons blog gelaai het. En hoe het die tyd gevlieg! Dit voel soos net gister wat ons vir die eerste keer ontmoet het, en skielik is dit die troue
Heinrich en Nadine is Saterdag getroud by Galagos – altyd ‘n stunning venue vir foto’s. Dit was ‘n stryd om net ‘n paar foto’s te kies vir die blog – daar is eenvoudig net te veel!!!
Baie dankie dat julle ons deel gemaak het van jul dag

Bruce & Tanya’s Wedding

I spent Saturday with Bruce & Tanya who got married at Bushveld Pond in Pretoria. They were such a sweet couple! And I think they thoroughly enjoyed their intimate wedding.

RE.INVENT II WORKSHOP at Forum Homini

Last week Gerrie and I attended a workshop at the fabulous Forum Homini hosted by two of Gauteng’s best wedding photographers – Dror Eyal Photography and Andrea Carlyle Photography and it was AWESOME!!! We left feeling inspired, excited and challenged to become even more creative with each wedding that we shoot.
A very big shout-out to Dror and Vicky for letting me pick their brains regarding all the admin and legal stuff (you won’t believe how much admin goes with each wedding). Thank you for being so honest and open and sharing your knowledge with us. You’ve opened our eyes and minds after we’ve given up on other photographers.
It was great meeting so many new photogs – some only starting out and some “old dogs” like Gerrie and myself. It was fun chatting about some of the crazy stuff we’ve seen and experienced at weddings.
And what else would 25 photographers do at the end of a day, but run around in a veld shooting (with cameras ) a very pateint model. Many thanks Sarah for all your smiles!

Nicholas & Verity’s Wedding

Here’s the last one from our crazy weekend…
I spent Monday at one of our favourite venues – Moon & Sixpence – with Nicholas & Verity. What a unique wedding this was! From Verity’s wedding shoes (check them out below – they were awesome!), to Nicholas’ encounter with a bird during the photo session, to the speeches, signs & wacky group photos in the reception. This was really a fun wedding to capture. And as always – the food was great (you know what they say about a man and his stomach )
