From our archives… Part1
During the winter months things tend to get a little quiet in the wedding industry. That usually gives us a chance to catch our breath, re-charge the creative juices and think back about the previous season.
I didn’t want to leave our blog empty, so I’ve rummaged through some weddings from the past months, and found a few pics that didn’t previously make it onto our blog. Actually I found a bunch of photos!!! So I’ll be posting them ALL (over the next couple of weeks)!

Leon & Kaleigh’s Wedding
Last Friday (16 July) I spent the afternoon with Leon & Kaleigh at Thaba Ya Batswana photographing their wedding. It was freeeeeeezing!!! But they were very courageous and braved the icy wind. Kaleigh’s my new hero – she never once complained and smiled through the whole photo session. If they apply this kind of determination in their marriage, there’s nothing they can’t do

Michael & Terri’s Wedding
A few weekends ago (before this horrible cold hit!!!) I spent some time as “second-shooter” with Ruan (the new addition to our photographic team) photographing Michael & Terri-lee’s wedding at Ascot Mews. It was a beautiful day for a wedding – but it didn’t come close to Terri’s gorgeous smile. She was radiant and so excited to get married – not a nervous bone in her body! They were an awesome couple to work with – and Ruan and I captured some great images. Have a look at some of our pics…

Andrew & Chanell’s Wedding
I am definitely blessed – somehow I always end up with the nicest couples This past weekend I spent the day photographing Andrew & Chanell’s wedding at Waterfall Cove. It was the first time that I got to work at this venue – and that always takes you out of your comfort zone. At the same time it gets the creative juices flowing, and I end up seeing photo opportunities everywhere!!! So many thanks to Andrew & Chanell for allowing me to take sooo many photos. That’s why I’m posting a few extra pics with this blog entry
Andrew, Chanell & their families were awesome to work with. I instantly felt more like “a long lost friend” instead of “just the wedding photographer”. A great big Thank You to all of you for making me feel so welcome and part of the day.
I hope you like these pics as much as I enjoyed your wedding…

PS – I don’t usually put group photos on our blog, but seeing as some family in Australia couldn’t attend, I thought it might be nice for them to see everyone that was part of Andrew & Chanell’s wedding!
